A comprehensive update and correction set researched and designed by Mark Hazzard for the DML 1/35th scale Israeli (IDF) M51 Sherman kit.


This conversion in resin and etched brass by Mark Hazzard (who drives a real one!) converts the standard SKYBOW M38A1 to the IDF modified RECCE CJ5. The set includes replacement panels, radio fit 0.30 Cal M.G. tools and stowage

Resin and Photo etched brass update set for the Takom IDF AMX 13/75 kit (352036). This set includes early wheels, detailed brass MG mount with the option of highly detailed Browning or FN MAG, searchlight, and IDF fitted stowage and headlamp guards. Also included are the engine deck louvre covers and raised superstructure plate fitted by Israeli base workshops prior to the 6 Day War making this set correct for 1967 IDF service.

Most of the constituent parts that comprise this set are available seperately as sets A180-A184.

It looks really fine but still lacks the correct towing hook. The one provided in the Takom (and Tamiya) kit is a late model introduced with the last hull type 2D.
By the way, with the early bolted wheels (not riveted) and the early headlights you could have a set for an early AMX 13 deployed in the Suez campaign in 1956.
