CENTURION A41 Operation Sentry
This comprehensive 1/35th scale conversion set designed by Derek Hansen converts the AFV Club Centurion kit* to depict one of the very early prototype A41 vehicles. Under the codename ‘Operation Sentry’ six A41 prototypes were sent to Germany in May 1945 for extensive troop trials, and this conversion represents a typical vehicle from that trial.
Tetrarch Airborne Tank
The 2pdr armed Tetrarch was designed in 1937 as the Light Tank Mk-VII, but is best known as the first airborne tank to be used in action. On D-day, 26 were landed at Ranville in support of the 8th Parachute Battalion actions around Pegasus bridge. Daimler Mk-I Armoured Car
The Daimler Armoured Car was one of the best designed AFV’s of WW-II, and featured 4 wheel drive with long travel independent suspension. Armed with a 2pdr (40mm) gun and with 16mm of armour, the Daimler had a top speed of over 50 mph. A “Littlejohn” adaptor could also be fitted to increase the performance of the 2pdr gun. Humber Mk-IV Armoured Car
The Humber Mk-IV was the last in the Humber series,described in the K093 data sheet, and was used extensively in N.W.Europe, and then Post-War. It had a revised turret hatch, stowage and lighting layout, and mounted the American 37mm M6 dual purpose gun. Around 2,300 of these popular and reliable vehicles were produced.
