Panther Shmalturm Turret
The Panther “Schmalturm” turret was developed to increase the protection afforded to Panther crews, but with no increase in weight over existing designs. Examples were built and the remains of one still exist today.
This 1/35th scale model was researched and designed by Lee Archer with 7.5cm Kw.K.42 L/70 gun. This kit also features an opening cupola hatch and an easy to apply etched brass fret with camouflage net tie down hoops, five prong crows foot command aerial and scale thickness mantlet rain cover. The pictures show the now sold out 8.8cm gun option.
