5.5cm Flakpanzer Panther
The 5.5cm Flakpanzer Panther was a proposal based on new 5.5cm guns of a very advanced design, and in common with other AA Turrets old tank hulls would have been used.
This model depicts the later flat back proposal which was better for mass production. Many believe that the modern Soviet 57mm AA guns were adapted from this 55mm design (Look at the ZSU 57/2… you never know!) This original model by Jon Bottomley features one piece turret, elevating gun mount, metal guns and commanders sighting system.
