Centurion ARV Mk-2 (Long hull) Conversion
This very comprehensive 1/35th scale resin conversion set by Derek Hansen and Rob Tearle converts 1/35th scale AFV Club Centurion tank kits* to depict one of the 57 ‘long hull’ ARV’s Mk-2 with distinctive ribbed transmission deck covers. As far as we know at present all long hull ARV’s seem to be British REME service only.
This conversion set features full recovery equipment, cables, rear anchor spade, spade frame jib and all standard stowage, bumper bar, snatch blocks and gun planks. Commanders 0.30 Browning MG is also included. An extensive etched brass detail set includes mesh stowage trays, and many other fine details and a set of full colour decals with marking options for several vehicles is also included. Brass main winch cable and towing cables are also included with resin end fittings.
The conversion can also be enhanced with other AA details such as “Hush Puppy” track, resin wheels, drivers compartment or etched skirt plates. Pictures of the painted model show AA track and wheels. *Note: Any of the AFV Club Centurion kits (Meteor engine versions only) serves as a suitable donor for this product, images show this conversion fitted to a typical AFV Club kit (not included).
