RAF Fordson Model N Tractor

The Fordson Model N, a development of the Model F, was in wide scale civilian use by the late 1930’s in the UK. As the ranks of the RAF had swelled so quickly in the early part of the war there was a shortage of airfield vehicles. As a result, many civilian vehicles were pressed into service.

Fordsons were used to tow everything from fuel bowsers to bomb trolleys. Many were never re-registered with RAF numbers but those that did received type numbers, group numbers, roundels and RAF registrations.

This simple to assemble 1:48 scale resin model comes with RAF markings, 24 detailed resin parts including CAD produced wheels and full instructions including painting and decal placement guide.
