Centurion ARV Mk-2 (Short hull)
£95.00

The Centurion ARV Mk-2 was the standard British Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) from 1956 onwards and some served during the Gulf War of 1990/91 with the final vehicle leaving service in 1995. It’s flexibility, reliability, power and comprehensive recovery equipment made it one of the best ARV’s of it’s era. Most of these ARV’s were converted from gun tanks resulting in two distinct versions; with ‘long’ hull (Based on Centurion Mk-1/2) or ‘short’ hull (based on Centurion Mk-3/5). The majority of the 300+ produced were short hull vehicles. This is also the basic Export version sold to other countries.

This very comprehensive 1/35th scale resin conversion set by Derek Hansen and Rob Tearle converts 1/35th scale AFV Club Centurion tank kits* to depict one of the standard ‘short’ hull ARV’s Mk-2. This basic version was also supplied to all countries around the world who used Centurion gun tanks (sometimes in modified form) This conversion set features full recovery equipment, cables, rear anchor spade, spade frame jib and all standard stowage, bumper bar, snatch blocks and gun planks. Commanders 0.30 Browning MG is also included. An extensive etched brass detail set includes mesh stowage trays, and many other fine details and a set of full colour decals with marking options for several vehicles is also included. Brass main winch cable and towing cables are also included with resin end fittings.

The conversion can also be enhanced with other AA details such as “Hush Puppy” track, resin wheels, drivers compartment or etched skirt plates.*Note: Any of the AFV Club Centurion kits (Meteor engine versions only) serves as a suitable donor for this product, images show this conversion fitted to a typical AFV Club kit (not included).

Completed model dimensions (approximate over rear jib/spade):

Inches/mm: Length 10.5/267, Width 3.75/95, Height 3.5/89

This product is a Conversion set and a donor plastic kit is needed to make the vehicle shown in the images.

Hi, we don't sell on eBay. If you buy on eBay you do so at your own risk. You will have to take the matter up with the seller. Cheep cheep.
