1/35th Scale LCT(4) Tank Landing Craft

Not currently for sale Like to see it return? Comment below

The LCT(4) was a 185.5 foot long British designed and produced ‘shallow draught’ tank landing craft which could carry 9 Shermans/Cromwells, or 6 Churchills, or 300 Tons of stores. 864 were made and were used on ALL D-Day invasion beaches to carry both US and Commonwealth units. The LCT(4) could deploy in water as shallow as 3 feet! This massive model by Derek Hansen & Rob Tearle is 62” (1600mm) long and 13.25” (335mm) wide and consists of three main castings in resin with resin ballast tank decks, wheelhouse and front winch decks. A huge quantity of other fittings in resin, plastic, metal, and etched brass result in an exceptional level of detail. 20mm cannons, Flot-A-Nets, Carley floats, rowing boat, stowage and ALL fittings are included.Does ‘big’ mean bland? No way! This model is fully rivetted and each plate has been designed, located and overlapped using original British War-time shipyard drawings! (Over 120,000 rivets-and still counting! All clearly shown).Due to the huge size of this model, it is made to order only, and is NOT available via shops, for shipping please contact us for a quote to deliver to your location.
