Cargo Ratchet Load Straps
This 1/35th scale resin and fibre accessory kit by Rob Tearle depicts a set of Cargo securing straps or tie-downs for Flatrack loads for DROPS. *The key to DROPS is the Flatrack which is loaded and unloaded (in around 30 seconds) using the Miltilift hook system. Generally the loads sit on the flatrack until used, and the ‘empty’ Flatrack uplifted later. Loads (usually on pallets) are strapped on using cargo straps with ratchets.
This set includes 2m (6.5 feet) of thin strap material and an etched brass set (with plastic rod) to make up 12x Ratchets and 24 strap end hooks or fewer straps around a considerably large load. Of course these handy straps have a multitude of other uses!
All 12 straps to equal length allows each strap to be approximately 150mm long making this a great value for money product.
