German E-25 Tank Destroyer

The E-25 could be classed as a ‘Medium’ Jagdpanzer, and as proposed, would have been produced as a pair of vehicles (with, and without turret). This model depicts the turreted design with 7.5cm KwK L/70 main gun and 1.5cm or 2cm turret armament for close in and AA defense. Hull armour fabrications may have been made before the end of WW-II but that is as far as it got as far as we know.

This model by Jon Bottomley uses the best available information, combined with intelligent interpretation of contemporary German AFV design practices and documented future performance aims to produce a likely final vehicle design. ie:- It’s our best guess! And it looks really nice too! The model comes complete with woven metal cables, opening hatches and etched brass deck and exhaust mesh screens and a simple etched brass side skirt system.
