AVRE Stores/Fascine Trailer
This is the standard 7.5-Ton stores trailer for the AVRE-165 used for transporting general engineering stores of all kinds in very rough terrain. It can also carry trackway and the huge Maxi poly-pipe fascine and was used extensively during the Gulf War of 1990-1991.
This 1/35th scale model by Brian Fawcett features ‘bulged tyres’, removable side panels and includes brass detail set and movable suspension. The standard towing vehicle is the Centurion AVRE 165, but was also regularly towed by FV432 and the Combat Engineering Tractor (CET).
